One of the highlights of staying at Pikaia Lodge is exploring the Galápagos aboard our private 145-foot yacht M/Y Vision Pikaia, accommodating up to 16 guests at a time. Our three itineraries visit some of the most iconic islands in the Galápagos, taking you through breathtaking landscapes with volcanic formations, pristine beaches, turquoise bays, and crystal-clear waters.

Along the way, you'll encounter some of the archipelago's most emblematic wildlife, including blue-footed boobies, Galápagos penguins, frigatebirds, giant tortoises, marine iguanas, sea lions, and a wide variety of colorful marine life while snorkeling.

Beyond the sea, Pikaia Lodge offers immersive land excursions across Santa Cruz Island. Explore the lush highlands, where you'll visit giant tortoise reserves, walk through ancient lava tunnels, and discover Los Gemelos, two impressive volcanic sinkholes surrounded by endemic vegetation.

On the southern coast, you'll visit the renowned Charles Darwin Research Station to learn more about the conservation efforts that have helped protect the Galápagos' unique wildlife. You'll also have time to explore Puerto Ayora, the island's main town, where you can browse local art galleries, relax at a local coffee shop or bar, and experience everyday life in the Galápagos.

If you're looking to make the most of your time in the Galápagos, Pikaia Lodge can arrange a variety of additional activities beyond those included in our adventure packages.

One of the most popular is a visit to Tortuga Bay, a secluded white sand beach reached by a scenic 45-minute walk. Here, you can relax on one of the island's most beautiful beaches, observe marine iguanas and sea turtle nesting areas, or enjoy activities such as kayaking and surfing while spotting sea turtles, manta rays, and, if you're lucky, baby hammerhead sharks. Excursion included in the 5+ Adventure Package.

For guests looking to explore beneath the surface, we can also arrange scuba diving excursions with one of Pikaia's trusted partner operators. This experience includes two dives at some of the Galápagos' world-renowned dive sites, offering a unique perspective of the archipelago's underwater world. A valid diving certification is required to participate.
